What we build

Software, and the research that made it necessary.

We build the tools we wanted and could not find. Both products are in use today, both are paid for by the people who use them, and neither of them holds or manages anyone's money.

01 / QFI Terminal

The whole company, from one ticker.

A research terminal for people who want the market in one place. Equity and macro research, options, crypto and other derivatives, and the positions of the funds worth following. You type a ticker and the company opens: the filings, the numbers, the chain, the flow, the story.

It was built because the alternative was eleven browser tabs and a spreadsheet, and because the professional terminals cost more per month than most people earn from the market in a year.

  • Who it is forPeople doing their own work, not people looking for someone to copy.
  • What it will not doTell you what to buy, rank anything as a recommendation, or promise a return.

02 / DeepAlpha

Reading the tape, at the resolution it happens.

A native desktop charting platform for index futures. Footprint and cluster charts, volume profile, delta and cumulative delta, the big prints, and the map of levels that actually matter on the day. It runs live, in replay, and in a simulator, so you can practise on a day that already happened before risking one that has not.

It is written in Rust with a GPU drawn chart, because order flow at tick resolution is a rendering problem long before it is a trading one.

  • Honest limitNo signal in it is a mechanical entry, and we say so inside the product too.
03 / The workshop

How something gets built here.

Nothing starts because it would sell. Everything starts because one of us hit a wall doing the actual work and could not get past it with what already existed.

  1. A question we cannot answerSomeone needs to know something about a market and the tools on the desk will not tell them.
  2. The ugly versionA script that answers it once, badly, for one instrument. Most ideas die here and that is the point of the step.
  3. Use it ourselvesIf it is still open six months later and we still reach for it, it is real. If we quietly stopped using it, it was not.
  4. Then, maybe, a productOnly then does it get an interface, a name and a price. This is the slowest filter we have and we have never regretted it.

The current list of things in the first two stages is short and it is not public. When something survives to the third stage, it shows up here.
